Scott Bennewitz, CPA & MBA, leads Forge Advisory Partners. His background includes 30 years of finance and accounting leadership experience as Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at various founder-led firms, including registered investment advisers, broker/dealers, wealth managers, and a long/short equity hedge fund.

He has led the stabilization and rebuilding of finance functions for numerous small and medium-sized companies, including a multi-entity operating firm, designed monthly close processes that reduced close time by half or more, improved reporting accuracy and timeliness, and reduced audit costs through consistent accounting processes and preparation.

Scott has cross-border regulatory experience (U.S. SEC, KYC, and AIFMD) in the United States, the Cayman Islands, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Ireland, and Luxembourg. As a recognized subject matter expert in regulatory compliance, Scott has spoken at industry compliance conferences on multiple occasions. He has led and resolved SEC and FINRA examinations resulting in few or zero findings.
